E-Attendance Policy and Official Link

1. Introduction

In alignment with the institution’s commitment to maintaining the quality, credibility, and fairness of the learning and training process, this policy outlines the rules and procedures governing electronic attendance. It ensures that learners’ participation in online programs is properly recorded and equivalent to traditional in-person attendance.

2. Equivalency of E-Attendance and Traditional Attendance

Electronic attendance is considered fully equivalent to traditional, in-person attendance, provided that the learner logs in and participates according to the required time and activity criteria.

E-attendance includes:

  • Attendance in live virtual classrooms.

  • Time logged inside the LMS platform.

  • Completion of required course activities related to attendance.

3. Minimum Attendance Requirement

Learners must complete at least 75% of the total training program hours, as stated in the program description.

This percentage may vary slightly depending on program type (e.g., 75%–85%).

Attendance hours are calculated based on:

  • Duration of live sessions attended.

  • Time recorded within the LMS.

  • Completion of attendance-related activities.

4. E-Attendance Tracking Mechanism

Attendance is tracked through:

  • Real-time login to live/virtual sessions (webinars).

  • Active time spent on the LMS platform.

  • Completion of specific tasks required for attendance validation.

  • Daily reports and LMS-generated statistics.

5. Actions Taken for Non-Compliance with Minimum Attendance Requirements

If a learner fails to meet the minimum required attendance, the following actions will be taken:

1. First Warning

An electronic notification will be sent to the learner, including:

  • Total hours completed.

  • Current attendance percentage.

  • The required minimum percentage.

2. Second Warning (Final Chance)

If attendance does not improve, the learner is given a final opportunity to meet the requirement before the program ends.

3. Denial of Completion / Failure of the Program

If the learner still fails to meet the requirement, one or more of the following measures will apply:

  • Denial of access to the final exam.

  • Failure to pass the program.

  • No certificate will be issued.

  • Re-enrollment in the program with applicable fees (if any).

4. Documentation

Program administrators must document the attendance violation within the system in accordance with quality assurance standards.

6. Learner Acknowledgment

By accessing the platform and completing the registration process, the learner acknowledges and agrees to comply with the E-attendance Policy and all related terms and procedures.
